Cinnabar Theater concludes its 53rd season with The Secret Garden, a musical by Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon, based on the classic novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, directed by Jane Erwin. The story follows Mary Lennox, a young girl sent to live with her reclusive uncle in an English manor, who discovers a neglected garden and, through her determination to restore it, awakens the hearts of those around her. Violet Spears stars as Mary Lennox, with Ben Sasnett as Archibald Craven, Syona Ayyankeril as Lily, and Tika Moon as Mrs. Medlock, among a large cast. The production explores themes of resilience, grief, and the power of nature and runs approximately two and a half hours with one intermission.
