Giuseppe Verdi's Simon Boccanegra opens San Francisco Opera's 2026–27 season, conducted by Music Director Eun Sun Kim in a production by Claus Guth. The cast is headed by acclaimed baritone Amartuvshin Enkhbat in the title role, with soprano Eleonora Buratto and tenor Joshua Guerrero making Company debuts as Amelia and Gabriele, respectively. Bass-baritone Christian Van Horn appears as Jacopo Fiesco, and Aleksey Bogdanov also performs.
