the sum of four / + one at Megley Black Box Theatre

iMEE Dance Company presents "the sum of 4 / + one" on Saturday, Oct 10th at 8PM and Sunday, Oct. 11th at 2PM, Megley Black Box Theatre. These performances will mark the company’s first FULL programming of multi-disciplinary contemporary dance offered to Rhode Island audiences.  "the sum of 4 / + one" showcases video landscape and film shorts by Oliver Halkowich, an iMEE project artist and soloist with the Houston Ballet.  The program features concept and choreography by iMEE Co-Founding Directors, Andrea Dawn Shelley and Spencer Gavin Hering.  Halkowich will contribute video landscape and two short films set to a variety of music such as Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Cesar Franck and Doris Day.  Shelley and Hering’s body of work, which demonstrates the company’s flair for dramatic story telling, examines acceptance and surrender experienced during life encounters. Come SEE work that RI patrons are calling, "thought provoking," "ground-breaking," "difficult," "passionate" & "masterful."
