Artists' Exchange Opens A CHRISTMAS CAROL, 12/6; Hosts Holiday Gala, 12/22

Artists' Exchange and its Black Box Theatre Troupe will be all around town this holiday season, with performances at two Cranston venues, costumed carolers at both the Garden City and Pawtuxet Village strolls, festive trolleys up and down Park Avenue and an exciting holiday gala at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet.

With a story that is both epic and intimate, The Winter's Tale is a roller coaster ride from tragedy to romance to redemption, boasting some of Shakespeare's most beautiful poetry.

With clever gender reversals and surprising twists of fate, As You Like It has long been considered one of Shakespeare's most romantic comedies. Trinity Rep announces that they will be hosting national launch of Theater Communications Groups (TCG)'s Blue Star Theatres Program for Military Families. The press conference will be held on Friday from 1:45-2:15pm at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, RI. In partnership with Blue Star Families and with support from MetLife Foundation, TCG's Blue Star Theatres program will connect a variety of theatre offerings to military personnel and their families across the United States. The festival will feature live music and theater, artisans, art activities and contests, food and more. Admission is free for kids 12 & under, with a regular admission of $1 to benefit Artists' Exchange's programs.

Gamm Artistic Director Tony Estrella directs Herzog's engrossing contemporary drama about a loving clan of leftist 'idealists'. At the center is the story of Emma Joseph (Diana Buirski) and her father, Ben (Jim O'Brien), whose close bond, built on shared politics, is shattered by a family revelation.
