NextStage Companys Virtual Studio presents an online, lived-streamed production of When We Were Stars as part of their September Workshop Series. Somewhere in the far reaches of outer space, four stars lament on the dreariness of being so far apart. This conversation sends a shockwave through the universe and actualizes 8 short plays about the struggles of distance, quarantine, and longing. When We Were Stars is a grounded fantasy delivered by six actors with original cello music. The Ursa Cast performs on September 2nd and Orion Cast performs on September 16th, 2020. NextStages September Workshop Series features new works performed by actors from all over the world. Enjoy these new theatrical works right from your own couch.
