Richben Collins, a brilliant, unpredictable storage space heir has had a recent failed attempt at self harm. This brings Counselor Ava Linsberg into his life. Her questions aim to discover the core of his disturbance. He isn't making it easy. He spontaneously sings aloud, freely opines on the nature of fear, and the impact of jealousy. Set in the present day, in an outer borough of New York City, "Reasons" is a thrilling drama of attempted healing, individual choice, and much more. To the counselor, the paramount concern is preventing Richben from harming himself and others. For this purpose, she tells him a story but its revelations lead to the entrance of a new character, and an unexpected, explosive conclusion
