Portland Center Stage presents Frost/Nixon, the play that became the Oscar-nominated film, about the conversation between David Frost and Richard Nixon that irrevocably changed the media's relationship to the American presidency. Frost/Nixon previews on Tuesday April 14th, opens on Friday, April 17th and runs through May 10th, 2009. Tickets range from $30.00 to $66.50, with student and under 30 discounts available. Rush tickets for Frost/Nixon are $15 and available starting 10 minutes prior to curtain. Show times are 7:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday, with a 2:00 pm Sunday matinee and alternating Saturday 2:00 pm and Sunday 7:30 pm performances. Martin Funds Banned Production Of PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE

Steve Martin has offered to fund an off-campus production of his play 'Picasso at the Lapin Agile'. The play was banned from La Grande High School due to 'adult content'. According to NYtimes.com, 'The actor and comedian said in a letter to a newspaper that he wants to keep the play, conducted in other high schools without controversy, 'from acquiring a reputation it does not deserve.'
FUSE-FOR-ALL To Be Performed At Theatre!Theatre! 3/15

Three weeks ago, Fuse sent out a request for solicitations from artists of all stripes interested in particpating in a collaborative adventure called:Fuse-For-All. Two weeks ago, five companies received a short play written by Fuse Ensemble member and award winning playwright Francesca Sanders. The play was based on ideas and topics provided by each company. In less than one week they will perform their version of this brand new play at Fuse-For-All - a one night only performance and fundraiser for Fuse Theatre Ensemble
