'CBS Sunday Morning' host Anthony Mason sat down with Motown founder Berry Gordy to discuss his world premiere Broadway production of MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL and the history of the legendary record label for a rare and exclusive profile that aired this Sunday, March 31. With MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL less than two weeks away from starting previews, the cast posed for an extensive photo shoot. In this video, the stars not only don the costumes and pose, but they also discuss about this 'magical' show, including what it takes to become their characters, and how this show is 'Motown authentically on Broadway.'

Here's the cast of MOTOWN performing 'Get Ready'/'Dancing In The Street'!

According to the New York Times, MOTOWN The Musical, based on the life of iconic Motown founder Berry Gordy, will start previews at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater on March 11, with opening night set for April 14. The cast will be led by Brandon Victor Dixon (The Color Purple) as 'Berry Gordy Jr.' and Valisia LeKae (Ragtime, The Book of Mormon) as 'Diana Ross.' Additional casting has not yet been announced.

The show earned $1,337,952.07 in the 1,068-seat O'Neill, one of Broadway's smallest theatres, for the week ending Sunday, October 9, 2011.
