As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the North American tour of Six, the new musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. The Hysterical Womxn's Society brought together stars of stage and screen stars to help raise more than $55,000 at their first-ever benefit event 'Voice for Choice' last night at The Cutting Room. Award-winning comedian, writer and activist Judy Gold hosted the one-night-only event in partnership with the ACLU of New York, that assembled strong voices from womxn and allies in the Broadway community and beyond. All proceeds from the event supported the ACLU of New York and the National Network of Abortion Funds.

Broadway Sessions recently held its 3rd annual Black History Month celebration. We invited an all star roster of Broadway talent to share songs and stories reflecting the influence, impact and legacy of black artists on Broadway and beyond. HOLY MOLY! This was one of the most incredible nights of music we have enjoyed. Beyond that it was moving, hilarious and profound. The cast of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical brought their own 'Hot Stuff' to the NBC Thanksgiving Day Parade performing the iconic song from the musical.

The multi faceted cast, including Storm Lever, Afra Hines, Wonu Ogunfowora, Anissa Felix, Jody Reynard, Ken Robinson, Kristin Yancy, Judith Franklin, Aaron Krohn shared their favorite tunes that went way beyond disco. Audience members had the opportunity to learn choreography from the hit show and to interact with the cast. One audience member even dazzled the cast with a custom gown made entirely of Summer 'fans'!
