What happens when Shakespeare meets Porter? Audiences are finding out eight times a week at Studio 54 when the Taming of the Shrew comes to life onstage within one of the most beloved musicals of the Golden Age. Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Kiss Me, Kate, directed by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, opened just last month for a new generation of theatre-goers.

They open in Venice on Broadway! It was all wunderbar last night at Studio 54, as Kelli O'Hara, Will Chase, and the company of Roundabout's latest musical, Kiss Me, Kate, celebrated opening night.

Twenty years after they first performed the roles, Broadway stars Audra McDonald and Brian Stokes Mitchell re-united to sing 'Wheels of a Dream' from Ragtime LIVE at the Kennedy Center at the et Freedom Ring! concert in collaboration with Georgetown University on January 21st, 2019. As magical as the evening was, after Freddie Gershon gave an impassioned presentation to the duo, Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones hit the stage and brought the house down at ages 88 and 89 respectively. They joined forces onstage to perform a song from their musical The Bone Room, described by Jones as being about 'the pleasures of dying and being embalmed in this great country of ours.' Ghostlight Records has released the cast album of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of She Loves Me from Roundabout Theatre Company in digital formats today, Friday, June 10. Physical copies will be online and in stores on Friday, July 8. Ghostlight has also debuted a new 'Making of the Album' featurette including exclusive interviews with the cast and creative team, as well as footage from the recording studio. Check it out below!
