BroadwayWorld has an exclusive first look at The Axelrod Performing Arts Center's The Bridges of Madison County, The Musical, starring Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!, Finian's Rainbow) and Aaron Lazar (A Little Night Music, The Light in the Piazza). The musical, which runs from March 11-27, is directed by one of its original stars, Hunter Foster (Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors, Million Dollar Quartet, The Producers).

Billy Porter honored Bette Midler as she received the Kennedy Center Honor with a performance of 'From A Distance.' Melissa Manchester will present Midler with the honor. The tribute will also feature Kelli O'Hara singing 'Wind Beneath My Wings'. Beanie Feldstein and Kate Baldwin will also appear in the tribute.

Today we rewind to 2013, when Big Fish arrived on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre, where it played for 98 performances. With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by John August, the musical is based on Daniel Wallace's 1998 novel, Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions, and the 2003 film.

Starring Cheyenne Jackson, Kate Baldwin, Christopher Fitzgerald, Jim Norton and Chuck Cooper, the musical transferred to Broadway following an Encores! production earlier that year. In Finian's Rainbow, An elderly Irishman, Finian, moves to the southern United States with his daughter Sharon, to bury a stolen pot of gold near Fort Knox, in the mistaken belief that it will grow. Og, a leprechaun, follows them, desperate to recover his treasure before the loss of it turns him permanently human. 

A group of Broadway stars took part in 'The Radius of Love (Six Feet In Every Direction)' a song about staying at home and washing your hands by Eli Bolin & Mike Pettry.

'We close things out with a look at the 48th production of City Center's famed Encore's, the glorious musical Finian's Rainbow, which starred Kate Baldwin, Cheyenne Jackson, Jim Norton and Terri White. It was directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle. Kate told me, 'I get to sing the most beautiful songs. I think Burton Lane was a master of melody.' Cheyenne said he knew the songs but didn't really know the story, 'It's very, very current. I was actually surprised. The main crux of the plot is a bigoted white man in power from the south who is being replaced by an open-minded black man. Hmmm. So, it's very current.''
