On October 30, 2003, a little show called Wicked opened at the Gershwin Theatre... the rest is history. Let us be glad! Let us be grateful and rejoycify that it is still around a whopping 15 years later, making it the sixth longest-running show in Broadway history.

To celebrate 'Wicked's' 15th anniversary on Broadway, NBC will throw a joyous Halloween party for the ages. This televised concert featuring songs from the blockbuster musical hit 'Wicked' will showcase a cavalcade of special guest stars to help celebrate the music and the magic of the show that tells the story of what happened in Oz before Dorothy dropped in. 

Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, the "Wicked" stars who are reuniting for NBC's highly anticipated "A Very Wicked Halloween," sit down with Jenna Bush Hager to talk about the NBC special, their favorite moments from the Broadway sensation and more.

Tony Award-winning actress, singer and performer Idina Menzel's music video for her studio version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is out now. Watch/share the video HERE. The song comes from her upcoming album idina: live which is slated for release October 12. Along with "Bridge Over Troubled Water," Menzel recently released her live versions of Rent's "Seasons of Love," and "Don't Rain on My Parade" which premiered at Playbill and TheaterMania respectively.

Roundabout Theatre Company will conclude the world premiere of Skintight, by Joshua Harmon, with direction by Daniel Aukin on Sunday, August 26.At the time of closing, Skintight will have played 23 preview performances and 77 regular performances. Previews began on May 31, 2018 and opened officially on June 21, 2018 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

Shoshana Bean is playing the Apollo! That's right, the Broadway veteran and acclaimed solo vocalist will belt to high heavens on Monday, July 30 (7:30pm) at the legendary Apollo Theatre. The concert will feature Bean and a 18 piece big band performing a carefully-selected collection of standards, classics and modern favorites, while still including a few Bean-penned gems, plus a special appearance by Cynthia Erivo.

'It's a straight play, so I'm not singing in it. It's such a relief to wake up and be like, 'Is [my voice] there?' When I'm in a musical I'm always so worried!'

It has just been announced that Tony Award-winner Cynthia Erivo will join Shoshana Bean onstage Monday, July 30, at the world famous Apollo Theater!

Roundabout Theatre Company present the world premiere production of SKINTIGHT, by Roundabout Underground alumnus Joshua Harmon (Bad Jews, Significant Other), with direction by three-time Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (Bad Jews). The cast includes Will Brittain as 'Trey,' Stephen Carrasco as 'Jeff,' Eli Gelb as 'Benjamin Cullen,' Cynthia Mace as 'Orsolya,' Idina Menzel as 'Jodi Isaac' and Jack Wetherall as 'Elliot Isaac.'

Idina Menzel appeared as a guest mentor on last night's episode of American Idol. Menzel, who joined the Disney ranks with Frozen, was on hand to guide the Top 10 singers through a Disney themed competition. I was on a non-Equity tour, then I got to Broadway after a year in Toronto with Hairspray and eighteen months on tour.
