First up in the Encores! Off-Center season is Working: A Musical, based on the best-selling Studs Terkel book of the same name. Working: A Musical evokes the unsung nobility of American workers-from the hardworking waitress to the worn out millworker. A living, breathing testament to the people who make this country run, the Off-Center production will incorporate stories from City Center's employees in celebration of the 75th Anniversary Season, acting as a time capsule for the landmark occasion.

Ring in the new year with the legendary Charles Busch. Actor/playwright/award-winning cabaret artist, Charles Busch (Die Mommie Die, Psycho Beach Party, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife), returns to Feinstein's/54 Below on December 31 for his third delightful New Year's Eve show with his dashing longtime musical director Tom Judson and special guests Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera, The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Andrea Burns (On Your Feet!, In the Heights), Peter Flynn (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Beauty and the Beast), and Ashley Austin Morris ("Murphy Brown," "The Good Wife"). The Actors Fund, the national human services organization that helps everyone in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis or transition, just held its Annual Gala on Monday night, May 8, 2017. The evening celebrated Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Danny DeVito, two-time Academy Award winner Sally Field, outstanding corporate leader Jo Ann Jenkins, CEO of AARP and 21-time Tony Award-winning theatrical director and producer Harold Prince. Mr. DeVito, Ms. Field and Ms. Jenkins were awarded The Actors Fund's Medal of Honor. Mr. Prince received The Actors Fund's Lifetime Achievement Award.

Broadway's top musical artists are set to appear on tonight's (June 21st) telecast of 'Maya & Marty' on NBC to perform 'What the World Needs Now Is Love,' an updated version of the classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David song that is helping to support the devastated LGBT community of Orlando, Fla. A slew of stage vets rehearsed the song earlier today, and Seth Rudetsky captured a sneak preview.

While the Tony Awards dedicated Sunday night's broadcast to the victim's of the Orlando shooting, others have been sending support and voicing concern and outrage over the horrible incident. At today's performance of #Ham4Ham, which drew record-breaking crowds, Lin-Manuel Miranda welcomed Andrea Burns to honor the victims with a rendition of 'What I Did For Love.'
