The Eisemann Center and the City of Richardson announced the 2019-2020 Season of Eisemann Center Presents (ECP) at the Annual Season Preview Party on Thursday, May 9, 2019. The season includes our two full subscription series: Jeffrey Siegel's Keyboard Conversations with a total of four concerts; and the Family Theatre Series with four productions and the accompanying immersive children's program Eisemann Extras. In addition we have 16 diverse productions ranging from superstar Mandy Patinkin to Asleep At The Wheel on their 50th Anniversary Tour and America's Got Talent favorite, deaf singer Mandy Harvey all returning to the Eisemann Center this season.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 Broadway's newest intimate concert venue has announced that acclaimed singer and songwriter SPENCER DAY will welcome jazz vocalist and songwriter Gabrielle Stravelli as special musical guest for his show on Friday, May 17 at 7:00 PM. Spencer will continue his string of packed shows and critical raves on Friday, June 21, which will conclude the season of his residency. Luke Combs' BEER NEVER BROKE MY HEART Sets Record For Most Adds At Mediabase

Luke Combs' new single “Beer Never Broke My Heart” has set the record for most adds on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart with 149 adds this week—breaking the record set by Carrie Underwood's “Smoke Break” in 2015. “Beer Never Broke My Heart” also marks Combs' highest debut on Billboard's Country Airplay chart to date and is the chart's top entrance by any act since September 2012.

More than 1,000 graduates from 67 countries and 47 U.S. states received degrees today at Berklee College of Music's 2019 commencement. At the ceremony, Berklee President Roger H. Brown presented honorary doctor of music degrees to music icons Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, and Alex Lacamoire. Lacamoire, a 1995 graduate of the college, delivered the commencement address to the graduating class and an estimated audience of nearly 7,000 guests at Agganis Arena.

Downtown Music Publishing has signed a publishing administration and catalog marketing agreement for the George Gershwin catalog with the Godowsky family and Heyward Memorial Fund, respective successors to the historic American songwriter and Porgy and Bess authors DuBose and Dorothy Heyward. In addition to many of Gershwin's preeminent works, the agreement includes management of more than 300 previously unpublished songs by Gershwin that have been largely unavailable since their discovery in the 1980s.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise Announce Fall Leg of 2019 Headline Tour

North Carolina-based quintet Rainbow Kitten Surprise has announced a fall leg of their wildly popular 2019 North American headline tour.  The newly announced run of shows kicks off at the Corona Theatre in Montreal on September 14th.  All dates being announced today will allow fans the option for a VIP ticket upgrade, which will include a private acoustic performance prior to the show.  The fall tour also marks the continuation of Rainbow Kitten Surprise's relationship with PLUS1, an initiative which helps support the band's partnership with Equality NC, a North Carolina-based organization working to protect LGBTQ rights.  On nearly all the band's US dates, PLUS1 has facilitated $1 from each ticket sold to be donated to the advocacy group – the oldest statewide LGBT equality organization in the United States.  In Montreal, the organization Project 10 will be the recipient of the PLUS1 dollars.
