Martin Bandier, Chairman and CEO of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, will be awarded the Visionary Leadership Award at the 50th Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner slated for Thursday, June 13th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.  

Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) will welcome country music legend Willie Nelson on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 8 p.m. Tickets range in price from $103-$173;  every pair of tickets will include a physical CD of Willie Nelson's forthcoming album.  The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association has announced today the line-up for the 2019 KCRW's World Festival at the Hollywood Bowl. The successful collaboration between KCRW and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association celebrates its 20th anniversary, and launches Sunday, June 16, at 7PM.

After launching his first arena headlining tour last year, multi-platinum entertainer Chris Young is excited to announce the “Raised On Country Tour 2019.” Sharing the same name as his “funky, rollicking, lively” (Music Row) new single, which name-checks his predecessors and country music icons Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Joe Diffie, George Strait, Alan Jackson and Hank Williams Jr., Chris Young's “Raised On Country Tour 2019” will kick-off May 16 in Alpharetta, Georgia. The first leg of the tour will include over 25 shows from coast-to-coast through September. Markets include Charlotte, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Phoenix, San Diego and more. He'll be joined by special guest Chris Janson as direct support along with Dylan Scott, LOCASH and Jimmie Allen.

The Country Music Association, which recently announced its new international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, has added back-to-back performances at Blue Note Tokyo in Japan on Saturday, March 30 featuring Brandy Clark, Devin Dawson and Lindsay Ell. Prior to Japan, Introducing Nashville will visit multiple cities in Australia and New Zealand with Clark, Dawson, Ell and Tenille Townes (Australia only). The Legendary Soul Man Sam Moore was announced as a guest collaborator on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member, and world-renowned Nashville-based keyboardist, Reese Wynans first-ever solo album, Sweet Release. Moore makes his guest appearance on the album's first single, 'Crossfire,' providing his signature vocals on the classic song, once sung by Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Multi-platinum RCA Nashville recording artist Chris Young officially impacts radio today with “Raised On Country”garnering 65 country radio station adds. Country music hit-maker Lacy J. Dalton is up to something we're all going to love. Having built a successful career for herself in the world of country music, Dalton has been evolving her sound into the world of Americana since 2004. Today, she released a new 4 song EP titled Scarecrow. This new blend of deep, edgy music has taken Dalton's songwriting in a whole new different direction, sharing a side she's never shared before.

April 12 marks the release of Acoustic Space, the first full-length installment in The Invisible Light trilogy helmed by Grammy- and Oscar-winning producer T Bone Burnett in collaboration with Jay Bellerose and Keefus Ciancia. The albums explore the idea that society has been subject to over a century of electronic programming, a “programming pandemic,” which is causing us to lose our ability to differentiate fact from fiction.
