TheatreZone, a professional Equity theatre specializing in Broadway musicals, announces its Season 17 productions.

TheatreZone, a nonprofit, 501(c)3 professional theatre in its 16th season of performances in-residence at the G&L Theatre on the Community School of Naples campus, has announced a change in cast members for its third Showstopper Series event, “At The Movies”  to be presented at 7:30p.m. on February 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, and 14; and at 2:00p.m. on February 6, 7, 13 and 14, 2021.

Winners have been announced for the 2020 BroadwayWorld Ft. Myers/Naples Awards - which were back bigger than ever, celebrating the best in local theatre of the past decade!

TheatreZone will present “Bravo Broadway!” January 7-17 as the second event of its Showstopper Series. The professional cast of Bravo Broadway! includes Larry Alexander (star of The Boy From Oz), Carolina Ordonez (star of Wonderful Town), Adolpho Blaire (star of Tonya & Nancy), Whitney Winfield (star of Tonya & Nancy), and more.

The spring season of the a?oeSpotlight on Playsa?? series will feature four new productions by playwrights Adrienne Kennedy, Larissa FastHorse, Sarah Ruhl and Pearl Cleage. Additional details below. Broadway's Best Show will be a new home for entertaining, engaging content, long form features and exclusive access to Broadway's Best, will continue its weekly 'Spotlight On Plays' series on Thursday October 14, 2020 to benefit The Actors Fund.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30p.m. on Feb. 6-9 and 13-16; 2:00 p.m. matinee performances will be presented on Feb. 8-9 and 15-16.

Tony, Pulitzer, and Olivier-winning Broadway Playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda has cast a local Naples Players' KidzAct actor, Christopher Campbell, in the Hamilton National Tour.
