I have been a lifelong fan of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. So, I approached Ghostlight Records' LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (The New Off-Broadway Cast Album) with equal amounts of excitement and trepidation. Would it live up to the joys of the distinctive treasures that are the Original Off-Broadway Cast Album, the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, and the 2003 New Broadway Revival recordings? Erin Leddy And Tim Realbuto Bring FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE To The Laurie Beechman Theatre With Nikki Blonsky

Acclaimed singer and actress Erin Leddy (Ghostlight the musical; Anything Goes; The Great Gatsby) and multiple award-winning performer of stage and screen Tim Realbuto (who recently won The Hollywood Moving Image Award for Best Leading Actor for the motion picture YES) will bring their new concert From Broadway With Love to The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe on West 42d Street, right in the heart of midtown. The concert will take place at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 13th, just in time for Valentine's Day. The two best friends are teaming up again after a very successful concert called Crossroads that they performed in 2018 at The Green Room 42.

Madcap Musical THE ANDREWS BROTHERS Announced At International City Theatre

International City Theatre opens its 35th anniversary season with a madcap musical salute to the swinging '40s. Written and created by Roger Bean (The Marvelous Wondrettes, Life Could Be A Dream), and with director/choreographer Jamie Torcellini at the helm, The Andrews Brothers opens on Feb. 21 at ICT's home in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. Performances will continue through March 8, with two low-priced previews set for Feb. 19 and Feb. 20.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Will Release Cast Album Featuring Jonathan Groff, Tammy Blanchard and Christian Borle

The critically-acclaimed revival of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will be receiving an original cast recording, to be released by Ghostlight Records. THE NEW LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS OFF-BROADWAY CAST ALBUM, produced by Alan Menken, Will Van Dyke, Frank Wolf, and Michael Mayer a?" and executive produced by Kirdahy, Ahrens and Arnold a?" will be released on December 20, 2019 digitally and will be available on all streaming platforms. A physical CD will be released at a future date to be announced.

Jonathan Groff To Appear In Conversation This Thursday

Jonathan Groff, who stars in the current, hit Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, will be the focus of an exclusive Drama Desk interview/audience Q&A program this Thursday, December 12 from 4:45 to 6pm. The event will take place at Ripley-Grier Studios (520 8th Ave., between 36th and 37th Streets) on the 10th floor (Rm. 10-D) and will be moderated by longtime Drama Desk member Michael Portantiere.

Gideon Glick Will Take Over Role Of Seymour In LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS in January

Tony Award nominee Gideon Glick (To Kill A Mockingbird, Significant Other) will take over the role of a?oeSeymoura?? in Little Shop of Horrors beginning January 21, for seven weeks through March 8, 2020 at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street). Tickets for the newly-added weeks are on sale today, at Telecharge.com.

VIDEO: Jonathan Groff Dressed as Mary Poppins for Halloween

Jonathan Groff, who stars in the new Off-Broadway 'Little Shop of Horrors,' was a guest on Monday night's episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Groff is such a big fan of Julie Andrews, who was the other guest on the show that night, that he shared the story of how he once dressed up as Mary Poppins for Halloween.
