Despite sub-zero temperatures, a nearly full house of theater lovers braved the cold to come together for a warm celebration at Green Room 42 in Manhattan, on Sunday, February 8.

This Sunday marks the last opportunity to bid in the 2026 TRU Love Benefit Online Auction, featuring exclusive items like Broadway show tickets and unique memorabilia. The event supports Theater Resources Unlimited and the arts.

Theater Resources Unlimited honored Tonya Pinkins and BroadwayHD at its 2026 TRU Love Benefit, celebrating leadership, advocacy, and innovation in theater.

Theater Resources Unlimited has announced updated casting and honorees for its upcoming TRU Love Benefit. The annual fundraiser will celebrate leaders in theater production, digital access, and humanitarian advocacy.

Theater Resources Unlimited will present its 2026 TRU Love Benefit honoring leaders and artists from the theater community. The event will feature performances by Broadway veterans and emerging artists, along with awards recognizing artistic and humanitarian contributions.

The Finger Lakes New Works Festival will host a reading of the new musical with music by Tommy Barbarella, lyrics by Mariella Elm, and book/additional lyrics by Lauren Kahane on January 13, 2026.  Music direction is by Benji Goldsmith. 

TRUSpeak: Hear Our Voices! will return in a new on-demand edition featuring four short plays adapted for virtual performance. The yearly fundraising event will showcase a broad ensemble of theater artists, with tickets offered as tax-deductible donations.

TRUSpeak... Hear Our Voices! 2025 will present special appearances by Emmy and Oscar winner Allison Janney, Tony winner Joanna Gleason and transgender activist Shakina Nayfack.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will present TRUSPEAK... Hear Our Voices! 2025, an evening of virtual short plays, followed by a virtual after-party.

Gloucester Stage Company, under the direction of Rebecca Bradshaw, is set to open its 45th season with the Tony Award-winning play VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE by Christopher Durang. The season pays tribute to Durang's significant contribution to American theater.

Dancers Over 40's celebration of Tommy Tune and DO40 author Kevin Winkler’s book, Everything is Choreography: The Musical Theater of Tommy Tune! Sold out! Over 120 in attendance at the Actors’ Temple Theatre in NYC. Two panels, three performances, videos, and a premiere video from ADM21 rounded out the evening.

Gloucester Stage Company opens its 39th season of professional theater on May 11 with the world premiere of Madame Defarge, Wendy Kesselman's new musical inspired by Charles Dicken's classic A Tale of Two Cities. The world premiere musical runs from May 11 through June 2 at Gloucester Stage Company, 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. A passionate re-imagining of Dickens' infamous Madame Defarge illuminates this new musical by Wendy Kesselman.

After a successful run in his one-man show 'I NEVER PROMISED YOU ... ROSE GARDEN', Patrick Rinn returns to The Triad Theater as Rose Garden in the first of his Vaudeville series titled, Rose Garden's Valentine Varieties.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presented the Original Broadway cast in Legs Diamond 30th Anniversary Reunion Concert on Sunday, December 3 at 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm. The concert is being produced and directed by original cast member Jonathan Cerullo and associate producer Carol Baxter.
