AMC announced today that Olivia Munn (“The Newsroom,” “X-Men: Apocalypse,” “Six”), Danny Ramirez (“The Falcon & The Winter Soldier”), Loan Chabanol (“Fading Gigolo”), Embeth Davidtz (“Old,” “Ray Donovan”) and Jessie T. Usher (“Shaft,” “The Boys”) have joined the cast of “Tales of the Walking Dead.'

Apple TV+ today announced a series order for “Mrs. American Pie,” a new 10-episode comedy from creator Abe Sylvia (“The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” “Dead to Me”) that will star Kristen Wiig (“Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar,” “Bridesmaids”), with Laura Dern (“Big Little Lies,” “Marriage Story”) eyeing a key role.

Idina Menzel has joined the cast of Latchkey Kids, also starring Jae Suh Park, Elsie Fisher, and Alan S. Kim. The feature will be directed by John J. Budion and with a script from Meaghan Cleary. Menzel will play the troubled mother of a teenage girl who gets entangled in a drug deal gone wrong.

Bradley Cooper has confirmed that his upcoming Leonard Bernstein biopic, Maestro, is set to begin filming in May. Cooper will direct and star in the upcoming film, also featuring Carey Mulligan as Felicia Montealegre, Bernstein's wife. Bernstein has conducted works such as West Side Story, Peter Pan, Candide, Wonderful Town, On the Town, and more.

A star-studded line-up will celebrate HB95 the 95th birthday of legendary singer, activist and actor Harry Belafonte. The evening will also present the inaugural Harry Belafonte Social Justice Awards in honor of the 10th anniversary of Sankofa.org, the social justice organization Mr. Belafonte co-founded.

The National Tour of The Prom has indefinitely postponed their remaining performances of the show at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland. The musical announced that there are multiple cases of Covid-19 within the company, causing the cancellations. The Prom was set to play eight total performances at the Hippodrome from January 18th through the 23rd. However, five out of the eight shows were unfortunately postponed.

The hit Hulu show, Only Murders in the Building, has announced that stars Shirley MacLaine and Amy Schumer will appear in season two, which is currently being filmed. According to Deadline, Martin Short has already shot scenes with the two actresses.
