KATE Opens On March 7th At Walnut Street Theatre

Walnut Street Theatre's 2018-19 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with an intimate portrait of Katharine Hepburn in KATE THE UNEXAMINED LIFE. Written by Rick Foster and directed by Peter Sander, the production begins previews on March 5, opens March 7, and continues through April 7.

Mark Jacoby To Lead The World Premiere Of VILNA By Ira Fuchs

Vilna, a new play by Ira Fuchs directed by Joseph Discher, will begin its limited Off-Broadway World Premiere engagement at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) on Monday March 11th. Opening Night is set for Wednesday March 20th (7pm). This limited Off-Broadway engagement continues through Sunday April 14th only.

Dance Theatre Of Harlem Is Annenberg Center's Artist-in-Residence This March

Annenberg Center Live and NextMove Dance present the intenationally-acclaimed Dance Theatre of Harlem, Friday, March 1 (8 PM) and Saturday, March 2 (2 PM and 8 PM). The program includes the world premiere of Philadelphia native and DTH Resident Choreographer Robert Garland's Nyman String Quartet #2; Harlem on My Mind (Darrell Grand Moultrie; choreographer); and Change (Dianne McIntyre, choreographer). Groucho Returns to the Walnut With Frank Ferrante in AN EVENING WITH GROUCHO

For one night only, Frank Ferrante will perform his acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in An Evening With Groucho. The performance that Variety called "a Tour de Force" will happen on the Walnut Mainstage on Monday, February 25. Ferrante also directed and is now performing in Ken Ludwig's A COMEDY OF TENORS at the Walnut, on stage now through March 3.
