The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture presents Christmas on Bleecker: Celebrating the Reason, on Monday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m., in its Loreto Theater located at 18 Bleecker Street.

Pasadena Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Danny Feldman announced the latest news for the theater’s upcoming six-month-long celebration of the works and impact of Stephen Sondheim January 26 through June 11, 2023. 

Live with Rye & Friends on Broadway will continue its one-year celebration on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Triad Theatre at 8:00 pm. Joining the continuing anniversary show as special guests are musical theater singing sensation Robert Bannon and American Idol Season 19 Top 10 finalist Alyssa Wray.

Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere of You Will Get Sick, a new play by Noah Diaz directed by Tony Award nominee Sam Pinkleton, officially opened on November 6, 2022 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Earlier this week, The Nederlander Organization unveiled the new Lena Horne Theatre in honor of the iconic entertainer and civil rights activist. Veteran actor Eugene Lee will join Norm Lewis to star in the 20-week North American tour of Roundabout's 2020 Tony Award-winning Best Revival of the 1982 Pulitzer Prize-winning A Soldier's Play.  

The summer may be over this year, but Broadway actress, singer and producer, N'Kenge, keeps the heat up in her one woman musical tribute, Forever Summer - a Tribute to Donna Summer. This fall, N'Kenge brings her electrifying talents to the Adrienne Theater (located at 2030 Sansom Street) in the heart of Philadelphia, performing all the hits by the Queen of Disco in one explosive show.

New York City-based conductor and baritone Malcolm J. Merriweather has been appointed as the director of the New York Philharmonic Chorus.

The York Theatre Company has announced the full cast and creative team for will the New York premiere of Hoagy Carmichael’s Stardust Road, conceived by Susan H.
