After an extended pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic, The Heller Awards will return in-person Thursday, November 10th, 2022 at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles.

The performance will take place at Roy Thomson Hall and marks the live debut of 'Paper Airplanes,' which multi-platinum artist Ruth B. and two-time Academy Award nominee / 5-time Grammy winner Terence Blanchard wrote and recorded specifically for A JAZZMAN'S BLUES. The track was produced by Oscar and Grammy winning producer, D'Mile and Ruth B.

On Tuesday, September 13th, Drew takes the show on the road to join Katy Perry on-site at her Las Vegas residency, PLAY. Drew will continue to go on-location at New York’s August Wilson Theater for an exclusive sit-down with “Funny Girl” star Lea Michele, who shares what it’s been like landing her dream role of Fanny Brice.

Due to popular demand, The Marsh San Francisco has announced a second extension of fan favorite Don Reed’s Going Out, presenting Bay Area theatre lovers with all new, never-heard-before stories by Reed.

The ilm is written and directed by Deitrick Haddon (Sins of the Father, Preachers of LA), who also stars, alongside Grammy-nominated singer MAJOR, singer Q Parker (112), comedian Jonathan Slocumb (Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns), gospel artist B Slade, actor Jo él Quinn (Sparkle), and actor Brittany Lucio (Everything but a Man, A House Divided). 

The Apollo Theater had a huge night during their annual Spring Benefit  raising a record-breaking $3.7 million including a $500,000  gift from Tyler Perry who made the surprise announcement during his acceptance speech for the Impact Award presented by Academy Award® winner and The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg. In celebration of the Apollo’s Spring Benefit on Monday, June 13, the non-profit announced today it will release a limited edition non-fungible token commemorating the annual event. Approximately 400 NFTs will be issued  through Ticketmaster.
