JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR has launched its Australian tour at the Capitol Theatre, showcasing a modern retelling of the iconic rock opera. The production promises a fresh take on the classic story.

HBO has renewed the critically acclaimed original drama series INDUSTRY, from Bad Wolf, for a fourth season. Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, the series concludes its eight-episode third season on Sunday, September 29 on HBO and Max.

Additional cast members for the Australian tour of the award-winning Regent's Park Open Air Theatre production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's celebrated rock musical JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR have been revealed.

Olga Merediz, who originated the role of Abuela Claudia in Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights, has just joined the cast of A24's upcoming romantic comedy Eternity. She will be appearing in the feature alongside the newly announced John Early and the previously announced Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, and Callum Turner.

Da'Vine Joy Randolph, who recently won an Oscar for her performance in The Holdovers, has just joined her first feature with A24, the popular independent film studio. Randolph will be appearing in the romantic comedy Eternity, which is directed by David Freyne from a screenplay by Patrick Cunnane. The details of her role are being kept under wraps but she joins a cast that includes Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, and Callum Turner.

The eight-episode third season of the critically acclaimed HBO Original drama series INDUSTRY, from creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, will debut SUNDAY, AUGUST 11. INDUSTRY gives an insider’s view of the blackbox of high finance following a group of young bankers as they forge their identities within the pressure cooker environment and sex and drug fueled blitz of international bank Pierpoint & Co’s London office. As the Toronto production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child nears its closing on July 2, the show's producers have just announced the theatrical prize of a lifetime.

The record-breaking Toronto production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will celebrate its 1-year anniversary with a week filled with activities from May 30 – June 4, 2023 at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre. 

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will end its record-breaking run at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto on July 2, 2023.  At a run of 13 months and more than 425 performances, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will set a record for the longest-running professional play in Canadian history.

The Canadian Premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has released additional tickets from $69 for sale just in time for the gift-giving season.  Ten more weeks of performances will be added, March 21 – June 4, 2023.  The new block of tickets goes on sale on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 9:45 AM ET in celebration of Platform 9 ¾ at King's Cross train station in London.  

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the CAA Ed Mirvish theatre will surpass 250,000 theatre goers. To celebrate this milestone, Toronto audiences will be treated to surprise-and-delight giveaways at all eight performances throughout the week of October 24th, which is when they anticipate the production will welcome its quarter-million patron.  

Sarah Afful who plays 'Hermione Granger' in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Toronto will be on maternity leave beginning September 30, 2022 as she prepares to welcome her second child. Temporarily replacing Sarah during her leave is Antoinette Robinson from the Broadway company who will make her Canadian stage debut.

Due to unprecedented demand, Toronto's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, at the newly remodeled CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre, extends its run yet again. Twelve more weeks of performances will be added from December 27, 2022 through March 19, 2023. Find out how to get tickets.

Mirvish has brought a truly spellbinding production to the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre this season. After over two years sitting empty, the theatre was packed on an opening weekend showing of the latest show in their 2022 season: the Canadian premiere of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD.

All new photos have beenn released from the Canadian Premiere production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child began performances on Tuesday May 31st and officially opens on Sunday June 19th, 2022 at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre.

After many weeks of rehearsals in the studio, the all-Canadian cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now ensconced in the newly re-modelled CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre. Check out a video preview of the show here!
