The album for the new dance musical The Beast in the Jungle is not your typical cast recording. Actually, it's not a cast recording at all, but a score recording that's purely instrumental. Even though the lack of dialogue and character voices makes it a more challenging score to listen to out of context (as opposed to a typical "cast album"), it's a truly masterful and moving score in its own right.

The evening, directed by Tony nominee Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), music directed by Drama Desk winner Mary-Mitchell Campbell (Mean Girls), and written by Harris Doran (Beauty Mark), will feature music and political insight to inspire New Yorkers to resist with the best tool they have: their VOTE.
HUDSON STAGE COMPANY is pleased to announce their production of Nick Payne's CONSTELLATIONS, directed by Mark Shanahan. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has reported that Ricardo Tobia, best known in the original Broadway cast of Pacific Overtures, was found dead on Tuesday, July 10. Tobia and his dog, Sparky, were both brutally murdered in Pittsburgh.

PRINCE OF BROADWAY is a musical celebration highlighting the extraordinary six-decade career of director and producer Hal Prince. Mr. Prince appeared at the event in conversation with three-time Tony winner Jason Robert Brown, who co-produced the album and provided new songs, arrangements, orchestration and music supervision for the show. In addition to a CD signing, members of the original cast performed musical highlights.
