NYC indie trailblazers, Daisy the Great return with their new single “All The People,” the first release from the band since 2023, and the lead track from their new EP Spectacle: Daisy the Great vs. Tony Visconti, out this Friday.

It was a one-two punch to fans of David Bowie in early 2016 when the rock star was suddenly pronounced dead and two days later, on what would have been his 69th birthday, released his final album, “Blackstar,” a preordained farewell addressing his demise.

LOVECOLOR is the musical project of Ryan Carnes (Desperate Housewives, Cupid for Christmas, Doctor Who) and singer, songwriter and producer Vanessa Silberman. Musical maestro Jools Holland and his famous Rhythm & Blues Orchestra have today announced the run of dates for their 2024 Autumn/Winter tour, with special guests Marc Almond and Toby Lee. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 2 February.

On one decisive night in November 1975, Adam saw The Sex Pistols playing their first-ever show, supporting Bazooka Joe. The explosive punk band inspired Adam to start something new.

Bringing together a cornucopia of collaborators from every period of Bowie’s multi-faceted career, the luminaries in attendance at the event include acclaimed producer Tony Visconti, whose partnership with Bowie across five decades spawned fourteen classic albums from 1969’s Space Oddity to 2016’s Blackstar.

Later this month, Charlotte’s Blumenthal Performing Arts will present the world premiere of BLACKSTAR SYMPHONY, The Music of David Bowie, with featured guest vocalist John Cameron Mitchell. A collaboration between BLACKSTAR SYMPHONY Artistic Director Donny McCaslin and The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, led by Conductor Tim Davies, the concert is a unique and singular interpretation of the music of Blackstar, Bowie’s final musical masterpiece, which was released two days before his untimely death.

Charlotte’s Blumenthal Performing Arts will present the world premiere of BLACKSTAR SYMPHONY, The Music of David Bowie, with featured guest vocalist John Cameron Mitchell, taking place on Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17 on the stage of the Belk Theater as part of the inaugural Charlotte International Arts Festival.

Secret Machines will release a digital reissue of their highly acclaimed self-titled record, remastered by Simon Scott (Slowdive) and originally released on October 14, 2008 via TSM Recordings with original members Brandon Curtis (vocals, bass, keys) and Josh Garza (drums), with Phil Karnats (guitar).

In addition to the talents of Young and White, the song features guitar by Don DeVore (Collapsing Scenery). Young produced it (with additional vocal production by Ainjel Emme) and then co-mixed it with Tony Visconti. Mastering was done by Mike Bozzi at BG Mastering. Listen to the new single now!
