Just last month, Broadway lost one of its brightest stars in Ann Reinking, who sadly passed away at the age of 71. Ann, or Annie and she was called by those closest to her, leaves behind a legacy of greatness. 'We've lost a big icon in our craft...' said her friend and colleague Chita Rivera. 'But somewhere there is a light that shines, and that light is Annie. Now she shines within us and we have to keep that alive. We have to talk about her and think about her.'

Arthur P., II was one of the best-loved figures in the American theater, with a distinguished career as a production supervisor that spanned five decades working with the biggest stars, directors and producers on some of the best-known shows in Broadway history.

Originally produced under the title At the Grand (1958), with a score by Robert Wrightand George Forrest and book by Luther Davis, the production was revitalized in 1989 by director-choreographer Tommy Tune, with additional music and lyrics by Maury Yeston, for a Tony Award-winning run on Broadway.

Two Valley arts institutions were named 'high performing' by SMU DataArts (The National Center for Arts Research), in a prestigious report that tracks the health of arts organizations across the United States. Arizona Musicfest and Ballet Arizona were recognized among national arts organizations across 50 states.
