The Broadway World Awards are replete with talented artists when it comes to the Best Vocalist category.

When these artists decided to take a huge step onto a small stage, they got it right, right from the start. These are the nominees for the Broadway World Award for BEST DEBUT SHOW - RUN OF SHOWS.

The Piano Bar community is a tight-knight family of special people who will stand up there and sing, knowing that the audience is going to talk through their numbers. It's a special crowd with a special talent.

The Broadway World Awards for Cabaret have added some categories this year. This is one that we felt was really important... and just look at all the swell nominations!

Get ready for a virtual cabaret extravaganza! It's an epic evening of song brought to you by the talents of Don't Tell Mama, a New York piano bar mainstay.

With the Coronavirus stopping all social gatherings and causing the closing of Don't Tell Mama for the duration, MAC has made a change from the previously announced event which was to be held at the club.

The MAC Awards were scheduled to be celebrated on March 30th at Sony Hall. Instead they will be announced via Facebook Live from Lennie Watts' home. The times are a little different now, but the celebration of art is the same.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2020 MAC Award nominees. The nominees were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership, except for the four song and recording categories, which were determined by special committees.

ScoBar Entertainment has announced that PIANO BAR LIVE!has been extended through November, at Brandy's Piano Bar on the Upper East Side, beginning Monday, November 4 from 7-8:30pm. Four men from the staff of the world famous piano bar, Don't Tell Mama, are getting their act together and taking it to the back room! Tommy J Dose, Brian Kalinowski, Paul Pilcz, and Jon Satrom all met while working in the Piano Bar. Over the last couple of months, they've been collaborating with Musical Director, Elliot Roth, to put together an evening of music consisting of contemporary pop, standard Broadway and classic rock. The night will consist of creative mash-ups and harmonious new arrangements with staging by Sean Bernardi.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is pleased to announce the 2018 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. The MAC Board of Directors selected the nominees for Show of the Year. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories. The names of the songwriters in the Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories are being withheld during the voting period, but will be announced publicly as soon as the voting period concludes.

During an evening when Mabel Mercer Foundation President and New York Cabaret Convention Producer KT Sullivan devoted a number of opening night spots in the 28th year of the four-day extravaganza (October 16-19 at Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center) to a younger generation of singers and a few veterans making their Convention debuts, the Grande Dame of Cabaret was the star of the night.
