Today, E! announced the commencement of voting for the 2019 “E! People's Choice Awards,” celebrating all forms of entertainment, chosen entirely by the people.  Starting with the fan nomination week back in August, E! engaged fans worldwide to submit their favorites in the various categories. Now it's time for them to select their choice from the eight nominees to determine the winner in each category representing movies, television, music and pop culture.

Variety reports that Tom Holland-led drama 'Uncharted' has just lost its director. It was announced that Dan Trachtenberg departed the feature on Thursday. 

Deadline reports that a months-long standoff between representatives from Disney and Sony has ended with Kevin Feige and Marvel being removed from involvement in any future 'Spider-Man' films. Current Spider-Man Tom Holland and director Jon Watts still have two movies left in their contracts--those will proceed without Feige's involvement. 

Variety reports that 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' will be re-released. This time, it will include a new action sequence.

This year, teens logged on to Twitter and FOX.com and cast more than 55 million votes in support of their favorite teen icons in film, television, music, sports, fashion, comedy and the web.

The second and final wave of TEEN CHOICE 2019 nominees have been announced and “Stranger Things” leads with six nominations. “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” “Murder Mystery” and “The Last Summer” are the front-runners in film with three nominations each. Music artist Shawn Mendes tops the music category with three nominations.

According to Deadline, Sony has shared that SPIDERMAN: FAR FROM HOME is being called at $39M. Read more about the estimates from Deadline here! The film hit theaters yesterday. 

20th Century Fox has released the newest trailer for 'Spies in Disguise.' Super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is … not. But when events take an unexpected turn, this unlikely duo are forced to team up for the ultimate mission that will require an almost impossible disguise – transforming Lance into the brave, fierce, majestic… pigeon. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.
