People's Light will present Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT from February 25 to March 29, 2026, featuring a fresh directorial approach by Andrew Watring in his mainstage debut.

People’s Light, Chester County’s destination for world-class theatre and live arts, has welcomed eight new members into its Company of Artists: Janis Dardaris, Madeleine Garcia, Todd Lawson, Anna Faye Lieberman, Jess McPhillips, Shauna Miles, Gabe Moses, and Jacob Orr.

“I feel a responsibility to both past and present,” declares MSMT Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark, who also serves, together with Marc Robin as Co-Director for the production which opens MSMT’s 2024 season.

Respectful of the show’s legacy and sensitive to contemporary context, Maine State Music Theatre has mounted a stunning revival of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, SOUTH PACIFIC.  Marshalling the company’s considerable artistic resources, this 75th anniversary production is musically glorious, visually lush, and packed with emotion and talent.

I don’t think that South Pacific or even the shows of Rogers and Hammerstein are especially dated or irrelevant.  A few years back, Fulton put on The Sound of Music to great appreciation and acclaim.  I wish they were able to capture some of that magic this time around.

The Fulton Theatre has announced the cast of its upcoming production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific. Since its debut in 1949, South Pacific quickly captured the hearts of theatergoers worldwide, earning critical acclaim and many prestigious awards, including seventeen Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

People’s Light is presenting the world premiere of Mushroom, an original play from Pulitzer Prize finalist and Mare of Easttown cast member Eisa Davis. Mushroom runs September 14 through October 16 on the Steinbright Stage.

A Good Farmer, by Sharyn Rothstein, explores these questions and more in American Theater Group's inaugural mainstage production at SOPAC Jan 24-Feb 4, 2018. Ripped from today's headlines, this is the story of a farming community and its struggles with issues of immigration, loyalty, family survival and compassion.

Penguin Rep Theatre, the award-winning professional Equity theatre under the leadership of founding artistic director Joe Brancato and executive director Andrew M. Horn, follows up its sold-out 40th season-opener, Trayf, with Cobb, a powerful play by Lee Blessing about the legendary baseball player, beginning Friday, June 30.
