2019 CMT Music Awards Announces New Performance & Presenters

The excitement for the "2019 CMT Music Awards" continues to build with the addition of legendary country artist Toby Keith and hitmaker Cole Swindell to the jam-packed CMT performance lineup. Keith will perform his new single "That's Country Bro," with Swindell joining Keith on one of his biggest hits. This year's CMT Music Awards boasts a record-breaking number of performing artists and will include additional surprise guests on the live telecast, premiering Wednesday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

THE VOICE Crowns the Season 16 Champion

Maelyn Jarmon, a 26-year-old artist originally from Frisco, Texas, and currently living in New York, was crowned champion of "The Voice" tonight. Jarmon stood out all season for both her stunning vocals and ability to master her sound as an artist deaf in one ear. The pop alternative singer earned Coach John Legend his first "Voice" win on the four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series.

Liner Notes Concert Series Returns To Geffen Playhouse

Rita Wilson's Liner Notes, part of the Geffen Playhouse Spotlight Entertainment Series, returns for a special limited engagement January 10 - 13, marking its fourth tour at Geffen's Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater. Wilson will be joined by songwriters Billy Steinberg (Madonna's "Like a Virgin," Cindy Lauper's "True Colors"), the Warren Brothers (Tim McGraw's "Felt Good On My Lips," Dierk Bentley's "Feel That Fire") and additional artist/s to be announced for an intimate evening performing song sets and sharing the personal stories behind their biggest hits.
