Country Thunder Florida 2019 has added six more performers to play the inaugural central Florida festival, March 22-24 in Kissimmee, Fla. LANCO, Granger Smith (feat. Earl Dibbles Jr.), Maddie & Tae, Chris Lane, Tracy Lawrence and Restless Heart join previously announced headliners Toby Keith, Luke Bryan, and Luke Combs. Last month's second-wave announce highlighted fresh talent of High Valley, Jimmie Allen, Waterloo Revival, Mitchell Tenpenny, Runaway June, Jameson Rodgers, and Noah Schnacky. Main stage superstars, red-hot up-and-comers and veteran artists who have stood the test of time are sure to cure country cravings and fulfill spring break dreams in the Sunshine State!

Rita Wilson's Liner Notes, part of the Geffen Playhouse Spotlight Entertainment Series, returns for a special limited engagement January 10 - 13, marking its fourth tour at Geffen's Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater. Wilson will be joined by songwriters Billy Steinberg (Madonna's "Like a Virgin," Cindy Lauper's "True Colors"), the Warren Brothers (Tim McGraw's "Felt Good On My Lips," Dierk Bentley's "Feel That Fire") and additional artist/s to be announced for an intimate evening performing song sets and sharing the personal stories behind their biggest hits. “America's Got Talent” season 12 winner and audience favorite Darci Lynne Farmer is celebrating the holidays Oklahoma style in her first original TV special, “Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas,” airing Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. For viewers of all ages, the special will celebrate family togetherness at the holidays.

The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance at Showbox SoDo in Seattle Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 PM featuring performances by Bailey Bryan, Barry Dean, Sam Palladio and Cassadee Pope. The series hosts intimate performances with some of Country Music's most exciting songwriting talent taking turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. GRAMMY-Award winning singer and songwriter Meghan Trainor will perform LIVE at AT&T Stadium during the nationally televised halftime of the Dallas Cowboys game against the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving Day, kicking off The Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign. Donations to the iconic campaign help provide shelter and meals for the homeless and hungry, and Christmas toys for millions of children, in addition to numerous other social service programs year-round.

CMT today revealed an all-star tribute to country legend and 2018 “Artist of a Lifetime” Award recipient, Loretta Lynn, featuring Sheryl Crow, Dierks Bentley and Martina McBride. The trio will perform LIVE from Nashville at the 9th annual “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” special on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Some of music's biggest stars are set to present at the event, including Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Smokey Robinson, singer-songwriter Elle King, Hillary Scott, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with a special introduction by platinum-selling artist, Trisha Yearwood. They all join previously announced presenter Sissy Spacek.

Fans who follow Country Music Hall of FamerCharlie Daniels online may have noticed what appears to be a serious infestation of boll weevil bugs on his social media accounts and website. As it turns out, those critters aren't boll weevils at all. They're actually, 'Beau Weevils,' and are a nod to Daniels' upcoming studio album, Beau Weevils - Songs in the Key of E, set for release on Friday, October 26.

In a year of celebrating the achievements of women in country music, CMT today announced that Loretta Lynn will be honored with the “Artist of a Lifetime” award presented by Ram Trucks at this year's all-female “CMT Artists of the Year” event premiering live Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Academy Award winner and “Coal Miner's Daughter” actress Sissy Spacek will bestow the award to Lynn, who joins previous recipients of the honor including Shania Twain (2016), Kenny Rogers (2015), and Merle Haggard (2014).

In recognition of the undeniable influence and impact of female artists in country music, CMT today announced that for the first-time ever the annual “CMT Artists of the Year” special is dedicated to the women of country music—past, present and future. This year's all-female “Artists of the Year” celebration will honor CarrieUnderwood, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman, and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott. Star of stage and screen, Jonah Platt has signed on to play Country Songwriter Hall of Famer, Dean Dillon, in the upcoming musical Tennessee Whiskey The Musical: The Story of Dean Dillon, written by Dewey Moss featuring the songs of Mr. Dillon.

Texas Singer/Songwriter Jerrod Medulla is enjoying his first Number One single with “Unbroken Horses” from his independently released album, Suits Me. The song reached the Number Two spot two weeks ago and jumped to the top spot last week on the Texas Regional Radio Report.
