Old School Square Announces 'Free Friday Concerts'

Old School Square welcomes concert-goers of all ages to experience live music under the stars in downtown Delray Beach. Every Friday night from Oct. to Jan., downtown Delray Beach patrons can enjoy a free concert at Old School Square's outdoor Pavilion.
Dozens of adventurous bands, ensembles and soloists, will take part in the Free Friday Night Concert Series. The 18 free concerts include a range of music from a variety of genres and ages. BET Networks, a unit of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA, VIAB), and Tyler Perry Studios today announced that, BET+, their joint venture and premier subscription video-on demand service, will launch in the U.S. on Thursday, September 19. For $9.99 per month, BET+ will feature more than 1,000 hours of premium content, including exclusive new original programming and fan-favorite series, movies, and specials from BET Networks, as well as a host of leading African American content creators, including Tyler Perry, Tracy Oliver, Will Packer and more.

HOUSE OF DREAMS Breaks San Diego REP Revenue Record

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced today that its world premiere musical, 33 1/3 a?" House of Dreams, currently held over until September 1st, set a new revenue record among all musicals in the theatre's recorded history. The musical beats out The REP's two previous revenue record holders, Evita (2017) and In the Heights (2013). All three musicals were Xchange Xperience productions, the partnership between San Diego REP and the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts that gives high school age students the opportunity to work on a professional production.

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) has announced the extension of its production run of 33 1/3 a?" House of Dreams, the world premiere musical written by local San Diegans Jonathan Rosenberg and Brad Ross, with additional contributions by Steve Gunderson and Javier Velasco, direction by Velasco and musical direction and arrangements by Gunderson. The show's run began August 1, 2019 and has been extended through Sunday, September 1, 2019 in the Lyceum Stage Theatre at San Diego REP.
