An all new trailer has been released of the brand-new stage musical Mrs. Doubtfire, currently at the Shaftesbury Theatre with press night on 22 June 2023.

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) presents Divas Three, a dynamic music revue featuring four decades of hits by some of music's most influential women. With songs made famous by Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Carole King, and more, this original revue pays tribute to the artists whose musical impact has earned them the coveted title of “diva.”

Broadway Advocacy Coalition will present “A Night of Artivism”, an evening of one act plays celebrating the work of its third annual cohort of the BAC Artivism Fellowship.

Community theatre is where it all begins. Children attain their first production in community theater; life experiences never to be forgotten. A nurturing Mom and Dad could say, “Hey, why not try this. It’s a cool.” Or a friend might comment, “Hey, I auditioned for this show. Come on. Let’s have fun. This summer, Midnight Theatre presents 'KTP's Juke Joint Jubilee,' a monthly concert series featuring the sultry soul and blues inspired vocals of the magnetic Kyle Taylor Parker.  Joining this month’s lineup of special guests are Kayla Davion (Tina, white girl in Danger) and Danny Marin (Drunk Musicals).

The hit West End production TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL which is based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner and was produced in association with Tina Turner herself, announces new cast members joining the musical, which has been running in the West End for 5 years. 

Following its New York City debut last year, the international musical and dance sensation Notre Dame de Paris returns to New York this summer to celebrate its 25th Anniversary. We're taking a look back on just a few notable productions ahead of the show's return to New York!

The full cast has been announced for the stage adaptation of best-selling novel The Book Thief, with a book by Jodi Picoult and Timothy Allen McDonald and music and lyrics by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson.

The North American touring cast is led by Naomi Rodgers (Frozen) and Zurin Villanueva (The Lion King, Mean Girls, Shuffle Along, The Book of Mormon) who will evenly share the role of Tina Turner, each playing four (of eight) performances a week. Also starring are Roderick Lawrence as Ike Turner, Roz White as Zelma Bullock, Carla R. Stewart as Gran Georgeanna and Lael Van Keuren as Rhonda.

On July 1, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) will take the stage at the beautiful Harbourfront Centre for a glorious—and free—Canada Day concert, marking both the nation’s 156th birthday and the grand finale of the TSO’s Centennial Celebration.

The Actors' Equity Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting the professional theatre community, has announced that Brian Stokes Mitchell and Mary K Klinger have been added to their roster of 2023 award recipients to be celebrated at an event hosted by Bebe Neuwirth. 

The Broadway community honors the memory of Tina Turner, the legendary music icon who passed away  on May 24, 2023, at the age of 83. On June 21, 2023, the lights of the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York, the former  Broadway home to the hit musical based on the triumphant life story of Ms. Turner, will be dimmed for one minute at  exactly 7:00PM, in her honor. 

Sundog Theatre presents “A-Bridge-d History of Staten Island…” an original, commissioned musical about the diversified background of New York City's least-known borough. Show and lyric writer is Matthew Gilleece. Peter Gilleece has written the music/rap song (Wu Tang, you know) lyrics.

Today, Studio (formerly known as Monthly), the online creative learning platform where students build skills in hands-on classes, announced the launch of two new musical theatre focused classes taught by in-demand songwriter Zack Zadek and Broadway music director Brian Usifer.

On Sunday, June 25, actor and Maine native, Patrick Dempsey will appear at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH for an intimate conversation about dreams, courage, loss, resilience, and finding your flow, in conversation with ABC’s Good Morning America host Robin Roberts.
