Parkinson's UK today announces the full line-up for their 50th anniversary celebration gala which will raise vital funds for the charity to continue its incredible research. On Thursday 5 December, inside the beautiful architecture of St John's Smith Square in Westminster, Parkinson's UK will host Fanfare On The Square, kindly sponsored by Symprove, an evening of classical baroque music and readings from iconic British talent.

VALUED FRIENDS to Have First Major UK Revival

Rose Theatre Kingston, The Original Theatre Company and Karl Sydow today announce the first major UK revival of Stephen Jeffreys' Valued Friends, directed by Michael Fentiman. The production opens at Rose Theatre Kingston as part of their autumn season on 26 September, with previews from 20 September, and runs until 12 October.

Hosted by Julian Clary, with an introduction by Ian McKellen, the evening of song, speech and music was held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Ian Charleson Day Centre at the Royal Free Hospital. It included performances by Michael Cashman, Rupert Everett, Anne Reid and Stefan Bednarczyk, the X Factor's Anton Stephans, mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly, actor Jack Lowden and the London Gay Men's Choir. Speakers included Nick Partridge, Laurence Isaacson and Sean Mathias.
