Northern Ballet presents the Generations: Three Short Ballets triple bill at the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House as part of its national tour this autumn.

The Center for Ballet and the Arts at New York University (CBA) and National Sawdust, with continued support from the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation, announce the 2023-24 Fellows: composers Erica “Twelve45” Blunt and Wang Lu and choreographers Ausia Jones and Tiler Peck.

This winter, Northern Ballet return to the Royal Opera House's Linbury Theatre with a programme of outstanding contemporary dance – Generations: Three Short Ballets. Curated by former Principal of The Royal Ballet Federico Bonelli – who joined the Company as Artistic Director last year – the triple bill features a world premiere from New York City Ballet Principal Tiler Peck and a UK premiere by Royal Ballet Soloist Benjamin Ella. 

After a sold-out world premiere in New York City and a  European debut in London, award-winning American ballerina Tiler Peck, will bring her critically  acclaimed show, Turn It Out with Tiler Peck and Friends, to her home state of California this fall.  

Alonzo King LINES Ballet, the internationally acclaimed contemporary ballet company, has announced its 42nd Annual Fall Season, October 12–15, at the Blue Shield of California Theater at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

Some of the most exciting names in ballet have been visiting Leeds over the last few months as Northern Ballet prepares a new evening of dance works Generations: Three Short Ballets which will première on their home stage in Quarry Hill this September. 

​​​​​​​The Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre has announced its autumn 2023 programme, including works from Yorke Dance Project, Tala Lee-Turton, Chiara Bersani and Northern Ballet. The season boasts three world premières and three triple bills, giving audiences the chance to witness never before seen works in Leeds before they hit national and international stages.

Growing up with the New York City Ballet (NYCB)nearby during my high school and college years (as they had their summer residency at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs), I was thrilled to turn around many years later to see the Kennedy Center present an evening of some of the New York City Ballet’s most beloved ballets.

The Martha Graham Dance Company will present GRAHAM100—The First and The Future, a three-season 100th anniversary celebration of Martha Graham’s work and legacy to begin September 2023 and continue throughout 2026.

BroadStage will present the world premiere of Los Angeles Ballet's Memoryhouse, the first full-length ballet by Melissa Barak as Los Angeles Ballet's new Artistic Director. The ballet will run June 15-17, 2023 at 7:30pm at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage.

Westside Ballet of Santa Monica presents 'Masters of Movement: Ballet through the Centuries'-a richly varied program of classical, neoclassical, and contemporary works showcasing the range and talent of the nonprofit company's pre-professional dancers, alumni, and guest artists-on Memorial Day weekend at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica.

To hear the score of the century-and-a-half-old comic operetta live was an unparalleled treat.
