Disney Theatrical Productions has partnered with ArtClass’ Jamaal Parham and Bashan Aquart, also known as the Brooklyn-based directing duo, ‘Jams x Bash,’ to collaborate on a branded short film, Generations, the first of its kind for a Broadway production in celebration of The Lion King’s historic 25th Anniversary on Broadway. Brisbane has welcomed Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of MARY POPPINS. Final tickets have just been released for the strictly limited season now playing at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC, which must close on January 15, 2023 with no possible extensions.

Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and The Bushnell has announced casting for the Hartford engagement of Disney's Aladdin. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances on November 8 for a limited run through November 13, 2022.

Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced that tickets for the long-awaited production of Disney's Frozen are on sale October 17 at 10:00 am.

The Salt Lake City premiere of Disney’s The Lion King opened on Friday, September 30 at 7:30pm at the Eccles Theater for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through Sunday, October 23.  In Salt Lake City, The Lion King will play Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30pm, Thursday, Sept. 29 and Thursday, Oct. 20 at 2pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2:00pm and 8:00pm and Sundays at 1:00pm and 6:30pm.  

The Lion King will kick off its 25th anniversary celebration this November. While two Broadway juggernauts have previously reached this milestone, The Lion King marks several historic firsts.  Never before has a show in its 25th year been playing in so many productions around the world simultaneously and placed in the Top 5 grossing Broadway shows.

The Walt Disney Company UK and Ireland and Birmingham Hippodrome have announced that Disney’s THE LION KING will return to the Hippodrome next summer.

From the producer of The Lion King and Aladdin, Frozen, the Tony-nominated Best Musical, will play a 2-week premiere engagement at the Fabulous Fox Theatre beginning Wednesday, November 2 with performances playing through Sunday, November 13.

The North American tour of Disney’s The Lion King will welcome Peter Hargrave, Nick LaMedica and Khalifa White as Scar, Zazu and Nala, respectively. The new cast members will begin performances in Salt Lake City at The Eccles Theater, where the award-winning musical will play a four-week return engagement from Thursday, September 29 through Sunday, October 23, 2022.  LaMedica and White begin performances on Thursday, September 29, while Hargrave debuts on Thursday, October 13.
