SF Sketchfest announces the initial line up for the 19th annual San Francisco Comedy Festival taking place January 9-26, 2020, featuring top comedic talent performing in venues across the city. SF Sketchfest offers fans the rare opportunity to see their favorite performers in intimate live performances, discussions and immersive comedy experiences.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's HAMILTON is certainly one of the best touring shows going, and the company visiting Richmond through December 8 is of the greatest imaginable quality.

This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum.

 It was announced today that The Drama Book Shop will reopen its doors in March 2020 at its new Times Square home at 266 West 39th Street (between 7th and 8th Avenues). The legendary shop's new home will be only one block away from its last location.

Playhouse Square is has announced the return of HAMILTON for a six-week engagement as a Huntington Featured Performance, from September 22 through November 1, 2020. A limited number of season ticket packages including HAMILTON will be available to purchase on Monday, November 11 at 10:00 a.m. by calling 216-640-8800 or visiting playhousesquare.org.

The innovative educational program that debuted at HAMILTON on Broadway will continue in Philadelphia on Thursday, November 7 when over 1,700 students and teachers from 39 high schools attend the matinee performance of the musical at the Forrest Theatre.

New York Stage and Film is thrilled to announce that its annual Winter Gala will honor six-time Tony Award-nominated producer and philanthropist Diana DiMenna, and Academy Award and four-time Golden Globe-nominated and Tony Award-winning actor and producer Tom Hulce. FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME has extended one final week to Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the Booth Theatre (222 W. 45th Street). For the first time on Broadway, this 85-minute show is created live every night with the audience contributing words and ideas and inspiration. No two shows are ever the same.

Producer Jeffery Seller and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announced today that single tickets for HAMILTON will go on sale to the public Saturday, November 23 at 9:00 AM ET.  Tickets will be available at kravis.org and in person at the Kravis Center Box Office (701 Okeechobee Boulevard).  Tickets will be available for performances January 28 - February 16, 2020. 

BroadwaySF announced today that the third national 'And Peggy' tour of Hamilton has extended its run in San Francisco by 21 weeks and tickets for the extension are now on sale. The production is now extended through May 31, 2020 at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco.

La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for its upcoming presentation of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival production of Cambodian Rock Band, by UC San Diego MFA Playwriting alumna Lauren Yee, directed by Chay Yew, featuring music by Dengue Fever. A co-production with Portland Center Stage at The Armory, Cambodian Rock Band will run November 12 a?" Cheryl Strayed's TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS, the best selling book that collects the highlights of The Rumpus's “Dear Sugar” advice columns, is loved for its insight, humor, and compassion. Nia Vardalos, the star of MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING, along with Marshall Heyman and Thomas Kail, co-conceived a stage version inspired by Strayed's beloved book.  TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS, the play, makes its Philadelphia premiere at Arden Theatre Company this fall.  The production runs now through December 8 at the Arcadia Stage. 

FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME, the highly-acclaimed improv sensation created by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Veneziale in 2004 before In The Heights and Hamilton, has added four 7:00 PM Wednesday performances on November 13, November 20, December 4, and December 18 during the busy holiday season.

MCC Theater announces that the highly anticipated World Premiere production of The Wrong Man, the new stage musical written by Ross Golan, has extended again by popular demand.

For the second year in a row, Hamilton will host a special fan performance on Thursday, October 31 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway, with all tickets for the 7:00pm performance being sold for $10.
