The Provincetown Theater has revealed its productions for its 2024 season in Provincetown, MA, the historic birthplace of Modern American Theater.

Produced by YOVA in collaboration with Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey, Marianne Faithful), Alex Thomas (John Cale, Anna Calvi), and Martin McDougall, the record features a stellar cast of like-minded musicians including Terry Edwards (Nick Cave, Gallon Drunk, The Jesus & Mary Chain), James Sedwards (Thurston Moore Group / This Is Not This Heat), and more.

Provincetown Theater presents its 6th Annual Townie Holiday Extravaganza! Celebrate the theater's 60th anniversary season with this festive event.

​​​​​​​Fortas Chamber Music Concerts, led by Artistic Director Jennifer Koh at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, begins the 2023–2024 season with a lineup of three recitals by esteemed artists and a valedictory performance by one of the world's premiere string quartets. Upcoming fall performances feature Augustin Hadelich (October 15), the Emerson String Quartet (October 20), Maxim Vengerov (November 14), and Sir Bryn Terfel (November 19).

To mark the 60th anniversary of its founding, the Provincetown Theater has announced a unique and celebratory lineup of productions for the 2023 season in Provincetown, MA, the historic birthplace of Modern American Theater.

Donelle Dadigan (Founder/President of the Hollywood Museum in the Historic Max Factor Bldg) brought the cast of TV’s most celebrated family, THE WALTONS, together at the Hollywood Museum for an afternoon of fun and photos with fans. Following a cast Q&A with emcee, Hollywood film and TV critic, Leonard Maltin, fans experienced The Waltons Exhibit, with full support and participation by Warner Brothers Archivists.

MOSSO, the Musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, presents MOSSO and Friends: A Holiday Musicale, on Sunday, December 11, at 4PM; First Church of Christ, 763 Longmeadow Street (Route 5), Longmeadow, MA. 

The Harmon & Harriet Kelley Collection of African American Art: Works on Paper, an exhibition that celebrates 54 African American artists and their tremendous contributions to U.S. art and culture, continues at Bedford Gallery through December 18.

Executive Producer, Cape Cod native, and The Food Network's Alison Mahoney (Evita, Ragtime, The Singing Baker) just announced HEAT WAVE: The Randy Andys mini tour Tuesday, August 23 at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, Wednesday, August 24 at Wellfleet Preservation Hall, and Thursday, August 25 at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House in Provincetown.

Beanie Feldstein is ending her run starring as Fanny Brice in Broadway's FUNNY GIRL today, July 31st. She is the production's first original cast member to depart. Standby Julie Benko will take over the role through September 4 and before the much anticipated performance of Lea Michele as Fanny Brice beginning September 6.
