Scheduled to premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2020 with a full cast, Florencia Iriondo's SOUTH, a new musical about a young Argentinian girl immigrating to the United States presenting a soulful South American folk-pop score, has been reimagined minimally for vocalist and guitar and will be performed in a safely distanced intimate live and live streamed show from the rooftop terrace of The Core Club, 66 East 55th Street, NYC, Friday October 16 at 4pm.

As part of their Performance on Screen series, Irish Repertory Theatre is presenting Love, Noël: The Letters and Songs of Noël Coward, directed by Charlotte Moore, and starring cabaret legends Steve Ross and KT Sullivan.
Stars in The House, benefiting The Actors Fund, continued today (2pm) for VARIETY THURSDAY with Delia Ephron, Carol Kane, and N'Kenge, and the cast of PBS' Mass including Isabel Santiago, Karim Sulayman and Paulo Szot. Joined by director Kevin Newbury.
Next up on The Players Club of Swarthmore's Mainstage is Lisa D'Amour's (Cherokee, Nita & Zita, Airline Highway) gritty, funny, intensely emotional and cautionary play, Detroit. The play is set in a suburb of a mid-sized American city. Ben and Mary, a most dysfunctional couple invite their new neighbors, Kenny and Sharon for a cookout. The barbecue is filled with strong uneasy tension that gradually escalates into a series of out-of-control events that gives new meaning to dysfunctional behavior. The McCallum Theatre, in partnership with Break-Away Tours, is pleased to announce its 2020 Springtime Theatre Tour to New York. The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company turns 40 in 2020, and is proud to announce its 2020 Mainstage Season. As usual, it includes classic gems, a New Jersey premiere, and a radio-style show. This year's theme is 'Challenging Change.'
Justin Sayre returns to Joe's Pub with another edition of their long-running Queer Variety Show, The Meeting. Sayre is celebrating 10 years since the formation of The Meeting in 2009, the show went on to become the longest running LGBTQ variety show in New York. Sayre will offer stories and songs with a host of downtown royalty, from Angela DiCarlo, Nadia Quinn, Amber Martin, and Phillip Taratula as Pam Goldberg on Friday night, December 6th. And Nathan Lee Graham, Natalie Joy Johnson, Dane Terry, Zachary Clause and Shane O'Neill as Jane Johnson. Tracy Stark will be Musical Director.
Their fall season closes with music of Cavalli, Couperin, DeVisée, Legrenzi, Montéclair, and Purcell, in alternation with traditional North African Taksim improvisations in this original program previously presented by the Sorbonne and NYU Villa La Pietra in Florence, Italy.
