Denver Center For The Performing Arts Completes $17 Million “A Grander Opening” Capital Campaign

In 2010, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) embarked on a $57 million renovation of the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex. The project was broken into three phases, the second of which required the DCPA to embark on its first-ever capital campaign. “A Grander Opening” launched on June 5, 2018 with a goal of $17 million.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Cabaret announces two shows for the summer lineup at The Garner Galleria Theatre; Rockin' and Rollin' with Miss Rhythm: The Story of R&B Legend Ruth Brown plays two weekends only June 3&4 and June 10&11, and Dixie is back where it all started with Dixie's Never Wear a Tube Top While Riding a Mechanical Bull (and 16 Other Things I learned while I Was Drinking Last Thursday) June 22 through July 17. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) has announced the return of the Education program, Shakespeare in the Parking Lot, kicking off its seventh season this spring. Shakespeare in the Parking Lot will go on tour throughout the Denver metro area to perform two free abridged versions of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

North Carolina Theatre has announced the full cast for Ring of Fire with music and lyrics by Johnny Cash directed by Randy Redd, who was a part of the Original Broadway cast of Ring of Fire.  Performances will run from April 29 – May 8 at A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh.
