BWW Review: CINDERELLA: A FAIRYTALE, Tobacco Factory
by Tim Wright
- Dec 8, 2016
This show is the perfect antidote to the celebrity stuffed pantos offered up by more commercial outfits. The show demonstrates that Christmas shows don't have to be formulaic or even familiar. by A.A. Cristi
- Nov 28, 2016
This December, the acclaimed Off-Broadway Axis Theatre Company will present the 15th annual production of its beloved family holiday show, Seven in One Blow, or the Brave Little Kid. Adapted from the classic fairy tale by The Brothers Grimm, this festive, interactive winter play is written and directed by Axis Artistic Director Randy Sharp (Edgar Oliver's Attorney Street, In the Park and East 10th Street). Though the poignant tale was created for kids, the Axis production-which teases out some of the many plausible subtexts-resonates equally well for adults.
