PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES is an amazing country musical with comedy and a talented cast who play their own instruments, telling the story, mostly through song. The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre, in Berlin, CT, has once again put together a first rate cast. For a night of great music and entertainment, I highly recommend PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES.

Barrie is searching for the next great play and he realizes it's time to write a play just for children. The show opened on Broadway to great praise and success. In recent years, FINDING NEVERLAND began a national tour that leads them to Austin, Texas from January 16-21, 2018 at Bass Concert Hall. Most recently, John Davidson (best known for hosting That's Incredible and Hollywood Squares ) took over the dual role of Barrie's producer as well as Captain Hook in this wonderful tour that continues its trek across the country. BWW caught up with Davidson recently to discuss his past roles, hosting opportunities as well as landing such a fun role in FINDING NEVERLAND.

Hofesh Shechter must be one angry choreographer, judging by his 'Grand Finale,' which I saw on November 10, 2017 at BAM. He gets right up in your face, so the loudness and grimness of the whole thing didn't surprise me-rather it just reiterated everything I've felt before when viewing one of his productions. I can't speak for anyone else, and, judging by the audience response at the end-whoops, screams, standing ovation-I am probably in the minority. What was a 2+ hour presentation with intermission could have been whittled down to 35 minutes. If there was ever too much of anything, this was definitely it.
