Arden Theatre Company has announced their 35th anniversary season for 2022-23, featuring seven productions that will be staged throughout the Arden’s campus in Old City, Philadelphia.

Teatro del Sol's mission is to preserve the Latin tradition of telling stories by producing and presenting new, contemporary, and classical Latin theatrical works for Filadelfia's diverse communities. Charlotte's Web is a heartwarming story of a special friendship between a lovable pig and everyone's favorite spider. When a runt pig is born on the Arable farm, the young girl Fern saves him and nurtures him. She names him Wilbur and helps him grow big and strong. Wilbur is moved to the Zuckerman farm where he befriends a batch of barnyard animals, including a talented spider that weaves words into her web that are crucial to saving Wilbur's life as the story unfurls.

Theatre Philadelphia's Barrymore Awards were announced yesterday. The awards recognized the best Philadelphia area theater from July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018. Judges and recommenders saw 112 productions by 40 companies were eligible, of which 10 companies won awards, for 11 productions.
