2x Grammy-winning entertainment legend and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Tanya Tucker’s new song, “Breakfast In Birmingham” featuring 9x Grammy-winner Brandi Carlile and written by Carlile and Bernie Taupin, is out now. Produced once again by Carlile and Shooter Jennings, Sweet Western Sound reunites the award-winning trio.

Brandi Carlile has released her rendition of “Home” from The Wiz. The new song is the latest studio work from Carlile, whose recent producer projects include Shucked writer Brandy Clark’s new album. The Wiz is also set to make its return to Broadway in 2024 with an entirely reimagined revival. It was adapted into a film in 1978 starring Diana Ross.

Produced once again by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, Sweet Western Sound reunites the award-winning trio following the release of Tanya’s landmark 2019 album, While I’m Livin’. Her first new album in 17 years, While I’m Livin’ reintroduced Tanya to a new generation and went on to win the GRAMMY for Best Country Album.

As the stages are broken down and the gear is packed up, fans from across the country and the world are coming down from their annual MerleFest excitement. Born & Raised, the Outlaw, Texas and Red Dirt country music and camping experience at the Pryor Creek Music Festival Grounds in Pryor, Oklahoma, the long-standing home of Rocklahoma, will take place this year Thursday, September 14th, Friday, September 15th, and Saturday, September 16th with a festival pre-party on Wednesday, September 13th.

Shelly Fairchild and Shamir share a life-giving cover of Loretta Lynn’s rousing country classic “Fist City,” out now on Kill Rock Stars Nashville. The video was shot at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN. In true southern fashion, Fairchild met the passing of the Queen of Country with a wily piano riff and therapeutic humor.

Brandi Carlile won three more awards at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards, bringing her total number of GRAMMY wins to nine. After winning Best Americana Album (In These Silent Days), Best Rock Song (“Broken Horses”) and Best Rock Performance (“Broken Horses”), Carlile performed “Broken Horses” during the live awards broadcast.

Lobo, Paul Overstreet and Billy Aerts have joined forces to record new versions of their most iconic hits. Their remix of “Me and You and a Dog Named Boo” will be released on January 20, 2023 via Time Life, the song that brought Lobo his first Top 5 hit in 1971. “When You Say Nothing at All” (co-written by Overstreet with Don Schlitz) will be released to all digital platforms a week later, on January 27, 2023.

The special television taping event will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. On Sunday, December 4, Nashville's CabaRay Showroom proved to be the perfect location to surprise music legends Ray Stevens and Brenda Lee with The Cecil Scaife Visionary Award. Stevens, who was in on the planning of the event, thought he was giving the award to Lee and Lee thought she was giving it to Stevens.  

The acclaimed six-time Grammy Award-winner, who is nominated for another seven awards this year, performed her beloved breakthrough song, “The Story,” along with this year’s Record of the Year-nominated, “You and Me on the Rock” with special guests Lucius. Watch videos from the episode now!
