spit&vigor theatre company (2015 NYIT Award-winners for In Vestments) will present the World Premiere of Ectoplasm, written and directed by Sara Fellini (Hazard a Little Death, Best New Script at the 2014 Planet Connections Theater Festivity).

Sylvia Milo, star of The Other Mozart playing this weekend at Bickford Theater recently took the time to answer some questions about the award-winning play based on the true story of the sister of Wolfgang Amadeus, Maria Anna (nicknamed Nannerl).

That 11 year old girl was Maria Anna (nicknamed Nannerl) Mozart and The Other Mozart is an award-winning play based on the true story of the sister of Wolfgang Amadeus.

Alberta Bair Theater kicks off its 2019-20 season with Sylvia Milo's award winning one woman play The Other Mozart, the true, untold story of Nannerl Mozart the prodigy keyboard virtuoso and composer who was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's older sister, on Saturday, September 14 with both a 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. performance at Petro Theatre on the campus of MSU Billings.

The untold story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's prodigy sister comes to San Jose when the Hammer Theatre presents The Other Mozart. Sylvia Milo's award-winning production tells the true story of keyboard virtuoso and composer Nannerl Mozart who performed throughout Europe with her brother to equal acclaim, but whose work and story were almost lost to history. Composed from a series of humorous and heartbreaking letters sent between Mozart family members, the play is set in a stunning 18-foot diameter dress and features a powerhouse solo performance. It has been presented to acclaim Off-Broadway, in London, and internationally.

Live Arts at the Morris Museum, a bold new performance series, introduces cultural climate change to Morris County's Morris Museum in historic Morristown, New Jersey. Innovative artists from around the world and around the area will dominate the season with world and regional premieres of the most interesting new work being created in music, dance and theater. To introduce Live Arts at the Morris Museum there will be a Launch Party on Thursday, June 6th at 7:30 pm at The Bickford Theatre featuring a performance by Kyle Marshall Choreography, the dynamic young dance company who will preview their new work, Horizon which will be part of the new season. In addition to theatre, dance, music, and its student matinee series, Alberta Bair Theater is presenting National Geographic Live! speakers while the theater undergoes its $12.5 million expansion and renovation during the 2019-2020 season.

The June 2019 So-fi festival announces that it will be presenting works at The Clemente's Los Kabayitos and Flamboyan Theaters (107 Suffolk St. between Rivington & Delancey) and Westbeth (463 West Street between Bethune and West 12th St) June 6th-23rd 2019.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) announces Spring 2019 BAC Residencies, which will provide critical support to 16 artists developing projects and collaborations across disciplines. Three public events with Resident Artists include presentations by 2018-19 Cage Cunningham Fellows Tei Blow and Silas Riener, and a day of Studio Showings by BAC Space Resident Artists at BAC (450 West 37th Street, Manhattan). The Neighborhood House program of Christ Church Preservation Trust, a catalyst for the arts at historic Christ Church, presents five free world premiere performances of In Plain Air, a work in multiple movements by composers Nathan Davis and Phyllis Chen that marks the culmination of the International Contemporary Ensemble's year-long residency in celebration of Christ Church's new C.B. Fisk pipe organ, Opus 150. Performances will take place at Christ Church today, September 22 at 1pm, 3:30pm, and 6pm and on Sunday, September 23 at 3:30pm and 6pm. Movements employing Christ Church's historic bells, custom instruments, and itinerant musicians will convey audiences across the entire Christ Church campus before introducing them to Opus 150. Presented in partnership with FringeArts, all performances of In Plain Air will be free. Major support for In Plain Air has been provided by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.
