Fraser's work is just one of the varied pieces that is part of the program Hudson in Concert taking place under a tent at Henry Hudson Riverfront Park on Saturday, July 15th beginning at 5PM.  It is produced by the Hudson Festival Orchestra and is free to all.

The Young Company Winter Festival 2021, performed by actors in grades 1-12, may look a little different this year, but it retains the great joy, dedication, entertainment, and hard work of years past. Winter Festival 2021 is the culmination of six weeks of rehearsals by the students and their professional directors and stage management teams.

The Young Company Winter Festival, performed by actors in grades 1-12, is the culmination of eight weeks of rehearsals by students and their professional directors, music directors, choreographers, stage managers, and design teams. The Young Company Winter Festival includes four fully staged productions: Disney's instant classic Frozen JR., the mischievous and playful Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, the raucous The Addams Family: A New Musical, and the new and exciting Firebringer.

What stands in the way of us living life while we're living in it? The Suffolk University Theatre Department presents the world premiere of Thornton Wilder's complete one-act play series - The Seven Deadly Sins - at the Modern Theatre.  Professor Wesley Savick, Suffolk University student Micaleen Rodgers, and Suffolk alumna Sydney Grant share directing responsibilities. Wilder's ambitious 7 one-act play cycle features 28 characters located in 7 distinct locations set within 7 distinct time periods. 

The Summer Festival, August 8-18, 2019, is the culmination of 5 weeks of preparation by Young Company students and their professional Directors, Music Directors, Choreographers, Stage Managers, and Design Teams. Performed by actors in grades 4-12, The Young Company Summer Festival includes 6 fully staged productions: family friendly Freckleface Strawberry The Musical, hilarious murder mystery Curtains, and the toe tapping classic Singin' in the Rain. High School Students continue the fun with the madcap musical farce Lucky Stiff, as well as musical satire How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and finally the action-packed adventures of She Kills Monsters.

Jones, Jr., beloved classic Annie, Disney's enchanting Beauty and the Beast, and the hilarious comedy 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

The Summer Festival, August 9-19, 2018, is the culmination of 5 weeks of preparation by Young Company students and their professional Directors, Music Directors, Choreographers, Stage Managers, and Design Team. Performed by actors in grades 4-12, The Young Company Summer Festival includes 6 fully staged productions: family friendly Madagascar Jr., upbeat and classic Footloose, and the hilarious Shrek. High School Students continue the fun with the heartwarming musical Big Fish, as well as The Great and Terrible Wizard of Oz-a modern take on the classic, beloved story, and finally the extraordinary adventures of Pippin!

The Young Company Winter Festival includes 4 fully-staged productions: family-friendly musical Phantom Tollbooth Jr. follows Milo on an unforgettable mission to save Rhyme and Reason in the Kingdom of Wisdom. In the fantastical Seussical, all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters come to life, and in the Disney Classic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Quasimodo escapes his bell tower and experiences freedom and adventure. Lastly, in the dark comedy Bat Boy: The Musical, Edgar, a half boy/half bat creature, joins a local family and learns to embrace his human half.

Today, August 26th, is Press Night for Plank, a new play by John Greiner-Ferris, directed by Megan Schy Gleeson.

Plank is the funny, thoughtful, irreverent, sometimes sad story about a woman who is happy and content, adrift on a plank of wood in the middle of the ocean. Then she's 'rescued.'

Performed by actors in grades 4-12, the young company Summer Festival includes 6 fully staged productions: family friendly Doctor Dolittle Jr., upbeat and classic High School Musical, and the quintessential Broadway musical Guys and Dolls. Our high school students continue the fun with the dazzling and ingenious Peter and the Starcatcher, hilarious toe-tapping The Drowsy Chaperone, and the powerful and political Cabaret.

the young company Winter Festival includes four fully-staged productions: family-friendly The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Junior takes us on an incredible adventure all across the globe, while The Emperor's New Clothes teaches us to open our eyes to what's right in front of us! Mary Poppins uses magic, common sense, and a spoonful of sugar to teach the entire Banks family to value one another. Lastly, the dark and edgy Sweeney Todd shows us just how far some will go for those they love.
