The Susan Haefner concert, premiered on May 30, will be extended through the month of June as FOLA (Friends of Ludlow Auditorium) answers the requests of a number of viewers.

Hers is some of the most iconic music of the 20th century and many of her songs formed the soundtrack of people's lives in the American post war era. And though Rosemary Clooney's public persona was one of grace and composure, in her personal life she was battling significant personal demons that almost brought her career (and possibly, her life) to an early end. But, at a time when self-care and taking steps to address ones mental health was not the norm, Ms. Clooney had the courage to face her demons head on and get the help she most desperately needed. It is this struggle (and triumph) that makes up the story of TENDERLY: THE ROSEMARY CLOONEY MUSICAL, which is now playing at Playhouse on Park in West Hartford.

Geva Theatre Center presents La Cage Aux Folles, with book by Harvey Fierstein, music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, based on the play by Jean Poiret, directed by Melissa Rain Anderson, with musical direction by Don Kot, and choreography by Sam Hay in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from September 3 through October 6.

Broadway veteran, Susan Haefner, and featured actor in Playhouse on Park's The Scottsboro Boys, Ivory McKay, are slated to be the special guest teaching artists for the Musical Theatre Preparatory Program.

Playhouse on Park's education department, Playhouse Theatre Academy, is thrilled to welcome back Susan Haefner for a Master Class on Monday, July 15 from 6:30-8:30pm at The 224 Ecospace!

Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Lisa Brigantino is excited to announce her I'll Waltz Before I Go album release show and celebration at The Cutting Room, in New York City on Saturday, May 18th at 7:30pm. It will include songs from her recent album as well as select songs from previous albums. The show will run the gamut from solo voice and guitar and two and three part vocal harmony tunes to fully arranged band songs featuring performances by Thomas Millioto, Lori Brigantino, Susan Haefner, Gus Morgan, Claudia Glaser-Mussen, Mike Fornatale plus a special appearance by Terre Roche, founding member of The Roches.
