Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record-breaking run in 2018, returns to Lincoln for a limited engagement March 24-26, 2023 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts.

Matilda The Musical welcomed some new cast members back in September 2022, including Rakesh Boury and Amy Ellen Richardson as Matilda's awful parents Mr and Mrs Wormwood.BroadwayWorld recently had a chance to catch up with the pair as they settled into their roles. We chatted about putting a new spin on the characters, big hair, the genius of Tim Minchin and the beauty of live theatre.

The White Stripes are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their RIAA Platinum-certified 2003 fourth studio album, Elephant, with two special releases. Elephant (Deluxe) and sees the remastered HD audio of the original studio album joined with the band’s July 2, 2003 27-song set at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom from their Elephant Tour.

GRAMMY Award-winning trio Nickel Creek’s new song, “Where the Long Line Leads,” written by mandolinist Chris Thile, violinist Sara Watkins and guitarist Sean Watkins. Recorded at Nashville’s RCA Studio A, the album was produced by longtime collaborator Eric Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age, Grace Potter, Weezer) and features Mike Elizondo.

A timeless power ballad anchored by a simple classic 80s Linn drum, Purr’s new track ”Hesper” opens wide into a sparkling expanse that is equal parts shoe gaze and star gaze. At once theatrical and slightly sedated, it’s Kate Bush on Ketamine —-with a lilting vocal by Eliza Barry Callahan at center.

RVSHVD, one of the most exciting new artists to fuse county storytelling with hip-hop sonics, returns with 'Reverse' released on The Penthouse South / Sumerian Records. Produced by The Dream Addix and Alex 'Lex' Goodwin, 'Reverse' has RVSHVD singing about his rural Southern roots but in a situation that most everyone can relate to.

Voice talent includes Vivienne Rutherford ('Eureka!,' “911: Lone Star”) as the titular character Eva, Jessica DiCicco ('The Loud House,' 'Puppy Dog Pals') as Eva's mom, Dino Andrade (“Loud House,” “We Baby Bears”) as Eva's dad, as well as Romy Fay (“Best Foot Forward”), Sascha Yurchak, and more.
