Musical theatre licensor Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW) has entered into an agreement with Monty Python for licensing of the authorized live performance of the group's work. The script, a selection of the seminal sketches from the original BBC TV series Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969-1974), is only for performance by school and university theatre groups in North America. The show has been in development for several years and after a final pilot production in 2017, now approved for licensing by Monty Python.
