The Public Theater hosted its 2021 gala, with the final performance of Merry Wives, last night, September 20.

A new slate of fall programming has been announced for Audible Theater, including three more shows staged live at the Minetta Lane Theatre and four Audible Originals. Highlights include: And So We Walked, An Evening with Solea Pfeiffer, and Approval Junkie.

Ukulele superstar Jake Shimabukuro, one of the most exceptional and innovative ukulele players in the history of the instrument, brings his virtuosic playing to Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre in Malibu to kick off the 2021–2022 season at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 8 p.m. and Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 8 p.m.

EventMakers - USA announced that Hank WIlliams Jr. will perform on Saturday, October 9 at the After Hours Concert Series at the SERVPRO Pavilion, located at The Meadow Event Park in Doswell, VA. EventMakers - USA announced today that the After Hours Concert Series will  move to The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County, Virginia.  The 2021 season, which is expected to include at least 30 shows, kicks off in May with concerts including Jamey Johnson on May 14th, New Faces of Country featuring Jimmie Allen, Matt Stell and more on May 21st.

Chatillion Stage Company has launched Project Mercury, a new anthology series of original audio plays, which takes its inspiration from Orson Welles' The Mercury Theatre on the Air.
